The Great British Bake Off

 I have eagerly been anticipating the return of  "The Great British Bake Off".

 This tasty programme is back for its 6th series and i wonder who of the 12 contestants will whip up the greatest bakes and cakes, and become master of the tent.

For those of you that don't follow the programme its "Twelve homebakers take part in a 'bake off', which will test every aspect of their baking skills as they battle it out to be crowned the Great British Bake Off's Best Amateur Baker." Quote from BBC One. 

It was great to catch up with the presenters Mel and Sue. 

I wore my best pinny and put on my most favourite of over the top earrings.  

The Bake off tent is just out of shot, and it was a hive of activity as the film crew where filming Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry. I didn't get a chance to meet them as i was too busy showing off my baking skills to Mel and Sue in a vain attempt to get on the show.

Here i am next to my bubblegum flavoured cupcake with jelly tots on top for decorations. 

I think next time i back i wont wear such big earrings as they fell into the cake mix at one point. Opps .

For those that are fans of the programme, i will see you later on the sofa at 8pm, BBC 1

Why have i chosen photos as a format to tell my stories ?

This maybe a question you might be asking.

"because every picture tells a story" 

I love how a photographs will capture a moment in time, a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.

Through drawing my photos i am creating real memories, lost moments and future dreams.
